Yeck Ella [Female] b. 1863 OH - d. 25 MAY 1881 Cedar Township, Boone Co., MO

Ninety four year old Elmer Wesley Yeck, grandson of Manassa Yeck, told this story in 1998. His aunt Ella died shortly after giving birth to a daughter named Laura, somewhere in Missouri. Since her father owned a saloon and Manassa didn't want her raised under those conditions, he brought her back from Missouri to Texas and raised her as his own child.
