The family suggests contributions to the National Kidney Foundation. Mr. Srader was a lifelong Independence residence. He was a car salesman for Dave Cross's Motors in Lee's Summit for 15 years, retiring in 1987. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Janis Srader of the home, a son, David, A daughter, Dana Fidler, and two brothers, Robert T. Srader and Harold D. Srader, all of independence; three sisters, Dorothy Dobson and Frances Thompson of Independence, and Pauline Grimm, Tulsa, Okla., and six grandchildren.

HISTORY: Mr. O. G. Hough was born in Nodreland, Norway in 1866. His fathHISTORY: Mr. O. G. Hough was born in Nodreland, Norway in 1866. His father came to America and worked a year then sent for his family. The family moved to Kandiyohi County in a covered wagon pulled by oxen. O. G. Hough came to Kerkhovern in 1882 and clerked in a general store of Odney and Evans. He had several different Jobs until he went into business with J.H. Gordhamer in a general store. Later he and Ole Thonvold had a general store. in 1905 he organized the State Bank of Kerkhoven and worked as cashier for twenty-six years then became the president.
