Complications following a tonsil operation caused the death last FridComplications following a tonsil operation caused the death last Friday of Arletta Corinne Wilbur, 13 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs Meade Wilbur of Granger. "Wil" was born on February 18, 1932 to Julius and Mary E. (Wilbur) Gra"Wil" was born on February 18, 1932 to Julius and Mary E. (Wilbur) Graff on a farm in Granger Township where he learned about farming, building, and working hard. He graduated from Granger-Sharon High School in 1951 where he played basketball and baseball. He worked at The Ohio Injector until he was drafted into the Army and served his country in the Korean Conflict.

Upon his return from the service he worked for his brother Floyd at GraffUpon his return from the service he worked for his brother Floyd at Graff's Glass Shop. He started his construction career as a laborer and became a bricklayer. He eventually started and ran his own construction firm.

He was a member of a Model "A" club and enjoyed traveling with them. His oHe was a member of a Model "A" club and enjoyed traveling with them. His other interests included flying trips with his airport buddies, farming, raising beef cattle, woodworking, making something out of nothing (such as a cabin out of a chicken coop), volunteering at Sun "N" Fun Fly in Lakeland, building and restoring airplanes. He received an award at the Dayton Air Show for his home built airplane.

He was also a member of American Baptist Church in Lakeland, Fla.He was also a member of American Baptist Church in Lakeland, Fla.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Luain; sister, Wilma Jordan of GraHe is survived by his wife of 53 years, Luain; sister, Wilma Jordan of Granger Township; two sons, Paul of Kentwood, Michigan, and Kerry and wife Debbi of Valley Cottage, N. Y. ; three grandchildren, Katharine, Connor, and Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice; and brother, Floyd.

Born in Berea, Ohio, on March 29, 1922, he came to Lakeland from RiverviBorn in Berea, Ohio, on March 29, 1922, he came to Lakeland from Riverview 23 years ago. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local No. 407, Cleveland, Ohio. He was a Unitarian Universalist.
Mr. Walcheck is survived by his wife, Alice "Allie" Graff Walcheck; daughtMr. Walcheck is survived by his wife, Alice "Allie" Graff Walcheck; daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Bonnie" Ponton, Lakeland; son, Lawrence Walcheck, Pocahontas, Ill.; brother, Herbert Walcheck, Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Majorie Martin, Berea, Ohio; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
