West Trimbelle - Died at the home of his son, Steven Mann, Richard Mann, aWest Trimbelle - Died at the home of his son, Steven Mann, Richard Mann, aged 75 years and one month. The deceased has been a sufferer from paralysis for the past five years. On Thursday he suffered a stroke from which he never regained consciousness. He was a soldier in the Civil War, served 18 months. He was of a mild disposition and loved by all who knew him. A vacancy has been left which never can be filled. He leaves to mourn his loss an aged wife, four sons - Steven, Will, John and Charley and four daughters, Mrs. F. Buck of Trimbelle, Mrs. Ottman of Beldenville, Mrs. Claus of Washington and his youngest daughter, Nora, who is married and resides in South Dakota. River Falls Journal 6-23-1910

Moorhead, Iowa, May 22 - Mrs. Mann, mother of John Mann, died at the hoMoorhead, Iowa, May 22 - Mrs. Mann, mother of John Mann, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. B. McElwain last Friday morning. She was 82 years of age and one of the old settlers here. The funeral was held at the L.D.S. Church Sunday at 3 p.m. and interment made in the Preparation cemetery."
