Lehi--George T. Kinsey, 74, died in the Lehi Hospital Monday after an exteLehi--George T. Kinsey, 74, died in the Lehi Hospital Monday after an extended illness.
He was born at Park City, May 26, 1883, the son of George and Eliza BatHe was born at Park City, May 26, 1883, the son of George and Eliza Bates Kinsey. He married Clara Olsen July 2, 1908, in Oakley, Summit County. It was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He was a member of the LDS Church.
They lived for 14 years on a ranch in Summit County after their marriage aThey lived for 14 years on a ranch in Summit County after their marriage and he cut timber in Kamas Valley for the Park City Mines for several years. They then moved to Provo where they lived for 20 years working for the Provo Brick and Tile Company. In January 1937 they moved to Lehi, where they have since resided. He worked for the Geneva Steel Company until his health failed.
He is survived by his wife of Lehi; and fine sons and five daughters; JessHe is survived by his wife of Lehi; and fine sons and five daughters; Jessie and Ellis Kinsey of Provo; George Kinsey of Orem; Ivan J. Kinsey, Park City; Mrs. Marie Baker, Lehi; Mrs. Vila Franks, and Mrs. Luella McDonald, Provo and Mrs. Dorothy Silcox, Riverton; 49 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lehi Ward Chapel dirFuneral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lehi Ward Chapel directed by Bishop Carlos Coates. Friends may call at the home in Lehi on Thursday after 6 p.m. and Friday until services. Burial will be in the Provo Cemetery.
